The family has been under the weather. First we had a series of colds which took approximately three weeks to make its rounds through all, or most, of us. I think Jason, aka “Daddy”, was the only one who didn’t see much of the sniffles. Joey started getting sick to his stomach on Monday night. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but it continued through the day on Tuesday so he stayed home from school. However, he seemed to be much better by nighttime. When I asked him how he felt as I was tucking him into bed, he said “I feel great!” so I sent him on to school Wednesday. I was right in the middle of Wal-Mart a little later when I got a call from school that he’d been vomitting and I needed to come and pick him up. So much for feeling great, huh?! Both Jason and Josh started having symptoms last night so it’s obviously something contagious. Ugh. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it stays away from me and everyone else in the family who hasn’t come down with it yet.

Joey says he feels better… again. Let’s hope it sticks. Both of the boys in elementary school have their Thanksgiving lunch and I don’t want to miss out! I hear they’ve made Indian vests and Pilgrim hats to wear for the day and it would be a shame to miss out on the photo ops.

It was recently time to scale back on my internet responsibilities, which means I am suddenly feeling the freedom and the desire to actually focus on myself and the things I truly love to do. One of the things I love to do is creating, and I would like for Eclectic Scraps to be a reflection of that once again.

This is day 2 of the website overhaul. Having a lot of fun here! Wondering if anyone will take notice?
